These are some pieces that Echo City has designed as one offs or special commisions. The Shimmer was built in 1985 for Abbey Mill Arts Centre, Lanercost, Cumbria. It was made of 160 tuned alumium bars that spanned a 10m wide river. It was wind activated.

The steel tongue drum was made in 1997 for an installation underneath The Tay Bridge in Perth, Scotland.

The Rollerphone is a steel case containing marbles, that rush around as the instrument is moved by the person lying or standing on it. Thgis example was built in 1989 for a nursery school in Corby, Northhamptonshire.
